WE CAN BUILD ANOTHER WORLD!

Since 9/11 2001 many people talk at last about some facts: globalization of economy creates many winners, but even more victims. Environmental katastrophes grow more and more, the difference between rich and poor countries and people increase, all over the world the fear of global business competition deepens and politicians are asked, if they have lost their political power in aid of international companies. Indeed terror in the world is not only based on injustice of global economy, but it`s true, that the destructive consequences of globalization is the medium of terrorists.
So it is good, that there is a worldwide growing movement, like “Attac”, which strongly critizes the ruling development of global economy. As important such criticising is, as important it is to show a way out by ideas and visions. The point is not to refuse or cancel the globalization, but to arrange it.
Yet today there are “isles of hope” in the north and south, which show: it is not only possible, to globalize the power of companies, but also social justice and an ecological behaviour of economy. Out of it strategies can be developed, to enable global justice and global ecology.
It`s our ambition to popularise such strategies.
If more and more people overpower their feelings of powerlessness and more and more people confront politicians with visions of a human global economy, the pression will grow. And if the pression grows, policy will move.
